Some of the rows I set at 18″ for onions and garlic. After filming this video, the kids and I planted another set of rows at 3′ with various brassicas.
I left some space at the edge of the garden for cover crops and planted it with rye, clover and winter peas. We did the same around some of the other gardens as well. When I was borrowing the tractor for the onion beds I tilled up multiple new patches of ground just for cover crops. We need that organic matter!
I also need another hose. My current setup of three hooked together still isn’t reaching the far end of my gardens.
